Dr. Christine Ayles


Dr. Christy Ayles was raised in rural Alberta and moved to Calgary in 2003. She majored in Biological Sciences with 2 years at Dalhousie University and 1 year at the University of Calgary before being accepted into the University of Waterloo, School of Optometry. Dr. Ayles graduated with honours in June 2012. She and her husband Alex moved to Revelstoke in August 2014.

While at Dalhousie University, she assisted with a glaucoma research project. In her final year of school Dr. Ayles spent time interning with a Cataract and Refractive Ophthalmologist in Maryland; she also interned with Optometrists in both New Zealand and Calgary. Dr. Ayles has a passion for volunteering and has participated in an eye care mission trip in Ecuador with VOSH International; she has the intentions of participating in other eye care mission trips in the near future.

Dr. Ayles is an active member of the Revelstoke Rotary Club. She loves spending time with her husband, Alex, their children, Carson & Kallie.

Dr. Amy Nordstrom


Dr. Amy Nordstrom graduated from the University of Waterloo with a degree in Optometry in 2006 with honours. Previously she obtained her bachelor degree in Biological sciences at the University of Calgary in 2002. She completed her internship working with ophthalmologists at St. Eriks Eye hospital and the world renowned medical university Karolinska Institutet in Stockholm, Sweden.

She was raised in northern Alberta and has always loved the mountains. Dr. Nordstrom is an avid skier and enjoys mountain biking. She is very excited to be a part of the team at Revelstoke Optometry and is enjoying the vibrant community with her family.

Karris Rea


Karris joined our practice in May 2020 bringing with her 6 years experience as an Optician in Australia. In her down time she enjoys mountain biking and spending time with her husband Matt and their dog Sprocket.

Kristine Holland

C.C.O.A - Office Manager

Kristine joined the team at the Revelstoke Optometry Centre in January 2016. She started in the optical industry back in 2005 and worked for a couple of years before taking maternity leave to raise her two beautiful daughters. Kristine completed her Optometric Assistant's Course in June 2017.


In her spare time Kristine enjoys spending time with her two daughters who are very involved in community sports and camping with her husband and children.

Amie Donato


Amie joined the Revelstoke Optometry Centre team in February 2018 and finished her Optometric Assistant's certification in June 2019. Amie loves helping patients pick new, exciting frames and stays on top of all the new style trends.

Amie has previous healthcare experience with over 10 years in the dental industry. Away from the clinic, Amie enjoys spending time with her husband and raising their two beautiful children.

Sammi Morrison

Pre-test Technician

Sammi joined our team in the spring of 2022. She grew up in Alberta and is loving the mountain life in Revelstoke. When she's not hanging out with her husband and cat, she can usually be found at the ski hill in winter, or on her paddle board in the summer.

Jennifer Barrett


Jen has been with the team since 2015. 

Jaimie Dann


Jaimie joined our team in August 2022. Jaimie and her family moved to Revelstoke in 2013. She enjoys spending time with her husband, 2 children and 2 furchildren.  Jaimie is also a creative genius when it comes to her Cricut!
